I think that everything wrote was actually very logical. However, think about this, what if you were to create a killer headline? I mean, I don't wish to tell you how to run your website, however what if you added a post title to possibly grab people's attention? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is kinda vanilla. You might glance at Yahoo's home page and see how they write article titles to grab viewers to open the links. You might add a related video or a related picture or two to grab people excited about everything've got to say. Just my opinion, it could make your posts a little livelier.
